Space Drawing

Here I darkened the shadows of the buildings and staircase on the left creating a darker gradient on the buildings; I also added rocks and grass to the foreground. More details to the windows, fence, and bricks. Lastly I added more shadows around the AC unit in the center of the image. I attempted to make it appear to line up with the buildings perspective.

I then produced this image to help with referencing proportion and scale. In this image, I compressed/shrunk the previous image slightly, changing different aspects. I used a combination of the original image and this image to produce the final product. Such as how I referenced the fence from the original in size, proportion, and perspective, while using the size/proportion of the buildings from this image.

Here I de-saturated the image and added a fence with tires in the bottom right corner.

After brainstorming ideas and considering the assignment’s parameters, I found that I wanted to approach this drawing with a slightly-skewed building appearance. I pieced together different buildings I had found around downtown Norman. I then skewed and changed many of their perspectives. Here is the color version.
